Are my photos uploaded?

No. Your browser reads the file locally. Nothing is sent to a server.

Why is some information missing?

Cameras and editing apps save different tags. Social platforms often remove EXIF and GPS data.

Does this remove metadata?

This tool only reads metadata and exports JSON. It does not modify your original image.
